Edit Questions

NOTE: Any changes to existing questions with live data can affect that data--its integrity or its meaning .

To edit survey questions:

1. On My Surveys page, locate the survey with questions you want to change.
2. Click the survey title or the Edit icon.

   

3. In the survey editor, scroll to locate the question or element you want to change and click Edit

Basic Question Editing

Basic edits to an existing question and answer-set include minor text changes or corrections to:

• question(s) text
• answers(s) text
• instructions or column headers (Matrix question types)

Advanced Question Editing

Advanced changes to existing questions with live data can fundamentally change their meaning and the nature of the data set in mid-stream. These changes include:

• Meaningful edits or replacement of existing text (question or answer)
• Reordering of answers
• Adding, hiding, or re-ordering questions in a matrix group
• Adding, hiding, or re-ordering answers within one question or a matrix-group
